Eztoo MKV Video Converter is a multi-format video converter. It is said to support the conversion of formats like WMV, ASF, ASX, MPG, MPEG, AVI, QT, MOV, DAT, MP4, M4V, M4A, VOB, 3GP, RM, RMVB, RAM, and FLV into MKV files using the H.264, MPEG-4, XviD, and DivX formats.
The application has a very simple user interface, which you probably won't hate. It has a video player for quick video previews, which I couldn't test (more on that later) and a space at the bottom for conversion profiles. There are only 5 conversion profiles available and they all use the MKV container.
The following problem that I had with this converter: whenever I loaded a file, I got an error saying that "1.00 is not a valid floating point". I can't make any sense of that error, since there aren't many things that you can change in the settings to try and avoid it. Thus, I couldn't load any files and I couldn't test either the conversion engine or the video player. And I'd be very mad if I had bought this application.
After a few reinstalls and tweaking some files and folders in the system, I managed to bypass the floating point error, but conversions still failed.
So, I recommend that you download the trial and test it thoroughly before buying.
